Over the past year, Eragon has become where our customers start their work. It knows their company, remembers past conversations and connects to the systems they rely on. But at many of our customers, a large share of daily work still happens on websites that no connector reaches: procurement portals, supplier sites, booking tools and regulator pages.
Today we're launching Eragon Browser Use. Eragon now has access to a browser, so it can navigate websites, read what's on them and complete tasks there as part of a normal Eragon conversation. Every session runs in an isolated sandbox, separate from the user's own environment.
Browser Use is already in production at Slash, Deel, Prodware and Corgi.
Much of enterprise work still happens on websites without an API
Connectors cover the core systems of record, such as the CRM, the ticketing system and the data warehouse. Beyond those sits a long tail of websites that have no API and never will. A bid team checks government procurement portals for new tenders. An operations lead compares supplier prices across vendor sites. A finance team pulls filings from regulator pages.
This work is repetitive and takes hours each week, and today people still do it by hand. An agent without a browser reaches the edge of its connectors and hands the task back to a person.
Browsing the real web is harder than it looks
The websites enterprises depend on are rarely clean. Procurement portals bury listings behind search forms, filters and pagination. Key details sit in nested tables or attached PDFs, and pop-ups and session timeouts interrupt the flow.
Most browser agents are tuned on simple, well-structured sites and break on these pages. Acting on a site also carries more weight than reading it. To be useful at work, a browser agent has to handle difficult pages reliably and run somewhere that keeps its activity contained.
Every browser session runs in an isolated sandbox
When a task needs the web, Eragon starts a browser inside its own sandbox. The sandbox is separate from the user's computer, the company network and every other session, so nothing the browser loads can reach the user's environment.
The browser runs in its own sandbox, apart from the user's environment
Each session is isolated. Every task gets a fresh browser environment that is torn down when the task ends.
Credentials are handled securely. Any passwords are securely stored in our Vault.
Admins stay in control. Any browser actions taken are fully auditable for enterprise visibility.
Teams get the reach of a real browser without opening their own environment to the sites it visits.
Eragon is built to read the toughest websites
We designed Browser Use for the dense, inconsistent sites that enterprise work depends on.
It navigates sites with many steps. Eragon fills in search forms, applies filters, follows pagination and opens detail pages until it finds what the task needs.
It reads dense pages and documents. Eragon works through long listings, nested tables and attached PDFs, keeping the details that matter and skipping the rest.
It returns structured results with sources. Findings come back organized, with a link to the page each one came from, so they're easy to check.
Take a team that sells into the public sector. They can ask Eragon to find open tenders that match their services. Eragon searches the procurement portal, scrolls through the listings, opens each relevant bid and returns a short list with deadlines, requirements and links.
Eragon also takes action on the web
Many tasks require more than reading a site. When a user asks Eragon to get something done, it carries the task through on the site itself. It fills in forms, compares options, selects the right one and works through each step of the flow.
For example, a user can ask Eragon to book a flight to a customer meeting. Eragon searches flights on a booking site, compares times and fares, picks the option that fits and completes the booking flow. The user describes the outcome they want, and Eragon handles the clicks.
Browser Use works with everything Eragon already knows
The browser is one more tool inside Eragon, so what Eragon finds on the web combines with the company context it already has. That includes company knowledge, memory of past conversations and the systems Eragon is connected to.
Say a rep asks for a brief before a first call with a prospect. Eragon reads the prospect's website and recent news in the browser, then combines that with CRM history and notes from earlier calls. The rep gets one brief that draws on both the open web and the company's own records.
Results come back in the same Eragon conversation where the task started. Users don't need to switch tabs or copy information from one window to another.
Teams use Browser Use wherever work reaches the open web
Procurement and bids. Find new tenders and RFPs on government and industry portals, and pull out the requirements and deadlines for each.
Travel and operations. Search, compare and book flights and hotels, or check supplier sites for pricing and availability.
Sales research. Read prospect websites, job postings and press pages to prepare account briefs and outreach.
Finance and compliance. Pull filings, rates and rule changes from regulator and government sites.
Get started
With Browser Use, the work Eragon can take on is no longer limited to the systems it's connected to. If a person can do a task in a browser, they can now ask Eragon to do it from the conversation.
Eragon Browser Use is available today for all Eragon customers. Book a demo to roll it out across your team.
